Color is much more than a treat for our senses it is also very
therapeutic. In fact, many color therapists and spa owners incorporate colors
into healing and wellness. It is said that colors have varying energetic
frequencies that affect us on mental, emotional and physical levels.
RED is
the lowest of the seven colors in the visible spectrum and is known as a warm
color. It is stimulating and energizing and therefore it is helpful for
tiredness and lethargy, to stimulate low blood pressure, to boost sluggish
circulation. NB Red should not be
used on anyone with hypertension/high blood pressure since this color increases
blood flow. (That is to say as a color treatment)
Red in
its most positive sense is the color for courage, strength and pioneering
spirit.

Red as a color relates to the base CHAKRA situated at the base of the spine. The organs to which this chakra relates
are the kidneys and bladder (The kidneys are formed within the pelvis and here
they link with the base chakra energy, although prior to birth they rise to the
position in the loins with which we are more familiar). The vertebral column,
hips and legs are also areas related to the chakra. The endocrine gland to
which this color
relates is the adrenal gland.
Is Warm
and stimulating. Used in anemia or whenever you are feeling cold and pale with
chilled extremities; also useful for ultraviolet and x-ray, burns, and
frostbite. Red is a liver stimulant and counter irritant (to bring internal
inflammation to the surface) it contains nutrients such as vitamin B12,
acidity.
Red is
good for circulation, chronic illness, non-infected wounds, scar tissue,

Color
medicine can be understood at the level of quantum physics and its biological
effects. The healthy person needs full spectrum sunlight plus cosmic rays. The
unhealthy person needs additional specific color light. Only the correct color
can heal your body.
Using
colors well in our homes is a way of creating a balanced environment and influencing our moods and thoughts. Red is a color that raises a room's energy level just as it will do to the human body. Red, the most intense, pumps the Adrenaline like no other hue.
